Felix Petry und Joe Fonda spielen feinsten kammermusikalischen Jazz mit spiritueller Mitte, improvisierte Musik die Grenzen auslotet und neue großartige Eigenkompositionen.
Die Musiker trafen sich im Mai 2010 anläßlich des „VIII Encuentro Internacional de Jazz y Música Viva Monterrey 2010“ in Mexiko. Joe Fonda tourte mit seinen Ensembels die USA, Europa und Asien, und arbeitete dabei mit Künstlern wie Anthony Braxton, Leo Smith, Archie Shepp, Ken Mcintyre, Lou Donaldson, Bill und Kenny Barron, Randy Weston, Han Bennink, Xu Fengia, Curtis Fuller, Slide Hampton, Ramon Lopez, Carla Bley, Bobby Naughton, Bill Dixon, Gebhard Ullmann. „There is more to creative mastership than the surface of satisfaction and political certainty. This is a real virtuoso and composer of the highest order.“ Anthony Braxton, 1996. Felix Petry komponiert und spielt Saxophon, Klarinette und Querflöte. Seit dem Musikstudium in Köln lebt und arbeitet er als freier Musiker. Konzertreisen führten ihn nach Kanada, Indien, China, Äthiopien und Mexiko. Er arbeitete u.a. mit Rashid Ali, Sonny Fortune, Steve Swell, Omar und Emilio Tamez, Michael Jeffrey Stevens, Ramon Lopez, Simon Nabatov und Joe Fonda. Seit 2013 spielt Felix Petry Baritonsaxophon, Bassklarinette, Klarinette und Querflöte bei der Fetten Hupe in Hannover und Tenorsaxophon in der Formation „Elements“ des hannoveraner Gitarristen Klaus Spencker. Zudem leitet er Tonhallen Improvisationsorchester.
